His own relationship, though, is not quite so full of fairytales when he discovers what Jennifer meant when she warned him about 'Open Relationships'. San Iadras Snippets, by foozzzball Published on 01/06/07, updated on 22/05/08 From a Sci-Fi future where furs are a genetically engineered reality. Bits and pieces from various works on San Iadras, which have yet to find a home in one of the completed stories. Some of them are a little racy here and there, thus the mature rating. New - 'Philly and Sunshine' and 'Lab Mouse - Take 2' : A couple of pieces I found sitting in my 'generic scribbles' folder of errant bits and pieces that I felt like throwing up whilst I'm organizing my material for some editting work. |

Published on 03/01/09, updated on 03/01/09 Marigold's never had an easy life. A humanoid genetically engineered horse born in a lab, she was always the freaky kid at school, and although she's turned those differences into a kind of popularity... she's still the odd one out. |

Dinky, Locky, and Noof, by foozzzball Published on 10/03/09, updated on 10/03/09 The nature of warfare has changed in a hundred years. Seldom do soldiers fight for nations, and when captured, seldom are they well treated. Mladenka Estian, a genetically engineered dog, is unfortunately one of those soldiers. --- Rated mature for sweary words, oh my. Just a short little thing for Poetigress's Thursday Prompts, over on FA. |

Intimate Kodak Moments, by foozzzball Published on 11/07/09, updated on 11/07/09 Troy, a mouse, and Jennifer, a thylacine, live a long, long way apart. It's hard on a relationship, even with frequent phonecalls and video calls and some once in awhile phone sex. Maybe it'll be easier with pictures and home movies of Troy. Jennifer seems to think so. |

Published on 17/07/09, updated on 17/07/09 Jennifer's hair smelled faintly dry, and dusky. Somehow like hot sand, warm earth baking under sunshine. Ever so slightly of peach shampoo, and, of course, like sweat. Sweat and her body and Troy's in the long hours of the night, and he longed to kiss her. |

Kellmore Classic For Men, by foozzzball Published on 02/01/10, updated on 02/01/10 Troy and Jennifer, a mouse and thylacine, have a unique relationship. The problem is that the relationship is not uniquely between Troy and Jennifer, but living thousands of miles apart means it's hard to do anything about that. Maybe that can be ignored, maybe Kellmore classic cologne for men can help Troy be a little sexier for her. Maybe he doesn't need it. |

You Can Never Go Home, by foozzzball Published on 19/07/10, updated on 19/07/10 It was a long way home. Evran had thought that, thousands and thousands of miles away, back in Tajikistan, before things had hit the wall. Home was nearer for Evran now, though. San Iadras was a big city, but not as big as a country. It was a long walk to the Vista Quays, but that wasn't nearly as far as the march over the Gissar mountains into Uzbekistan, freezing every step, afraid of patrols and locals and rain.

Blind Date, by foozzzball Published on 25/07/10, updated on 25/07/10 Gracie had been really nervous all day. Blind date. It was funny, she guessed. She was twenty-eight, now, had been going on blind dates for as long as she could remember. In school her friends had set her up on blind dates, afterwards when she started at the arts and crafts centre the volunteers and staff and even the other students had set her up for blind dates. Ever since she'd started going to night courses at the university her new friends there had started setting her up for blind dates too.
