[Report This]Remarkable... seeing through the haze of Amanti's perceptions towards the end turns the experience into something surreal, supernatural, even before the inexplicable and shocking finish. The foreshadowing was quite good, it lead me quickly to the conclusion that Sisabi had a hand in what happened, though I wasn't quite quick enough to realize why Kibati must also be involved before I got to the end. Enough to give you a hint, not enough to reveal the whole story without careful scrutiny on the reader's part. In my opinion, that's just as it should be.
Thanks for posting this one, fooz, it's easy to see why it won.
